What's not to like about a personality quiz? They're fun, they're fascinating and they're a great way to learn more about yourself. So if you're a fan too, maybe you've already heard of the Enneagram test!
The Enneagram is a personality model made up of nine different types. Each one has its own number and name, along with individual strengths, weaknesses, motivations and fears. If you're not sure what your type is yet, you can find out by taking the test here. Then, read on to find out what your Enneagram type says about you!
Type 1: The Reformer
Ones just want to do the right thing! If you are a One, you're conscientious, organized, wise and idealistic. You have a strong moral compass and are always focused on following the high standards you set for yourself. However, sometimes you can be a little bit too hard on yourself. It's great to want to do everything right, but it's also okay to mess up and make mistakes sometimes—after all, you're doing your best!
You're the friend who...has your planner or Google Calendar color-coded to perfection and always gives the most honest, helpful advice.
Famous Ones: Michelle Obama, Rory Gilmore (Gilmore Girls), Mary Anne Spier (The Baby-Sitters Club)
Type 2: The Helper
Hey there, Helper! Type Twos are loving, warm, friendly and sincere. Your relationships are your top priority, and being liked by others is important to you. You thrive when you're able to get closer to people and be a source of support for them. Sometimes this means you might struggle with trying too hard to please others and forgetting what *you* truly want. Don't forget to focus on yourself sometimes, too!
You're the friend who...will plan a huge birthday party for your bestie and is the first person your BFFs call when they need a shoulder to cry on.
Famous Twos: Jess Day (New Girl), Olivia Rodrigo, Cher Horowitz (Clueless)
Type 3: The Achiever
When a Three wants something, nothing—and no one—can ever stand in their way! If you're a Three, you are diplomatic, ambitious, energetic and driven. Others totally admire your strong work ethic and determination no matter what life throws at you! You are a natural leader and aren't afraid to dream big. While a little healthy competition and hard work is great, remember that your worth doesn't depend on your accomplishments—you're so much more than that!
You're the friend who...always hypes your besties up when they need it most and pushes them to achieve their goals.
Famous Threes: Taylor Swift, Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl), Amy March (Little Women)
Type 4: The Individualist
Type Fours are creative, sensitive, independent and introspective. You love to express yourself, and you don't shy away from even your deepest emotions. You find freedom in being vulnerable and tend to have a strong sense of self. Your own personal identity is important to you, and you instantly embrace what makes you unique! On the other hand, when you feel unsure about yourself and like no one else "gets" you, you might withdraw from others and feel self-conscious about who you are. You're exactly where you're meant to be right now—trust that you're growing in all the right ways.
You're the friend who...is always up for a late-night deep convo and wants to talk about anything and everything.
Famous Fours: Peyton Sawyer (One Tree Hill), Tate McRae, Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
Type 5: The Investigator
If you're a Type Five, then you're curious, insightful, reserved and observant. You can't help but wonder why things are the way that they are—you're always on a search for knowledge and a deeper understanding of the world around you. You're a researcher at heart with a vivid imagination, but you want to make your daydreams a reality! Sometimes you might struggle with feeling like you're truly "good enough." Just know that you're capable of so many great things, and your innovative, unique perspective is *so* valued.

Being safe and supported is a Six's top priority, so you'll always try to seek out relationships and situations that make you feel secure. You're super loyal, and this applies to literally *everything* in your life, from the people you love to the things you believe in. Still, while others know they can trust you, you have trouble trusting yourself and tend to look outside of yourself for reassurance. Even when you're struggling with self-doubt, remember to listen to your own inner voice—it just might know better than you think!
You're the friend who...is the mom of the group and always has *all* the essentials prepared for any group hangout.

People admire your upbeat, fun-loving nature. Sometimes you might be a little impulsive. It's okay to slow down and take some time to think about things, too.

Type 8: The Challenger
Type Eights are confident, passionate, assertive and powerful. You're your own boss—you *hate* feeling controlled by others and like to know that you're in charge of making your own decisions. You usually don't care what people think of you and feel really secure in who you are, which inspires those around you! Just remember that you don't have to act extra tough if you're not always feeling it. Let *all* of the emotions in—it doesn't make you any less of the strong person you are.
You're the friend who...will never hesitate to stick up for your BFFs any time someone hurts them.
Famous Eights: Kourtney Greene (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Kat Stratford (10 Things I Hate About You), Jasmine (Aladdin)

Peace and harmony are most important to you—you tend to avoid conflict at all costs. You're a daydreamer at heart, and it's the little things in life that make you the happiest. While it might seem easier to "go with the flow" sometimes, don't avoid expressing how you feel. You always make others feel heard and accepted, but you deserve that same kindness from them.
You're the friend who...knows exactly what to do when there's an argument in the group.
Famous Nines: Lara Jean Covey (The To All The Boys... trilogy), Audrey Hepburn, Phoebe Buffay (Friends)
And wait—what's a wing?
If you're interested in the Enneagram, you might already know about your "wing." Wings refer to the numbers on either side of your Enneagram type. This means that you might strongly identify with traits from one of the Enneagram types next to yours. While your basic type gets to the core of your personality, your wing complements it and adds extra depth to it! You can take the test to get your wing here.
