I need advice. I totally like a boy—and he knows I like him, too. But here's the thing: He has a girlfriend. His friend knows I like him and said, "You should date her" when I was right there. Then my crush stared at me waiting for a reply. Should I have answered? He talks to other girls but gets shy around me. My friend and I were also giggling about him, and he asked, "What are you laughing about?" Does he like me (my mom thinks he probably does), and how can I get him to dump his girlfriend to be with me?

Dear Boy Advice, 

He probably has feelings for you, and if he didn't have a girlfriend this might be easier. But since he does, I'm glad you didn't reply to his friend's comment about dating. He knows you like him, so take a deep breath (not easy, I know) and focus not on him—but on friends, schoolwork and family while he figures out if he wants to disentangle himself and be your valentine. In the meantime, is there anyone else you like? Moving in on someone else's boyfriend can be tricky, and who needs enemies? Bottom line: Proceed with caution.
