My Skin is Way Oily

HELP! I have ridiculously oily skin! I wash it twice a day, use toner and overnight acne treatments, but my face is still so OILY! Worse yet, I get breakouts constantly. Halfway through the day my skin starts feeling wet and sticky, and in school there's nothing I can do about it!
I’ve tried most treatments, and none of them have worked. Right now, I’m using a line from Avon called “Clearskin,” and it’s working better than anything else has, but I still feel so self-conscious about my skin. Is there anything I can do?
Hey, girl. I totally hear your sitch — I had the oiliest skin during the hot, humid summer, and nothing seemed to help. Everyone has some kind of problem with their skin, whether it’s too dry, too oily, not soft, uncontrollable acne, etc. If this is an ongoing problem, the best thing to do is to see a dermatologist. You’ve already tried different products, so it may be time to get someone to take a look at your skin.
Each of us have very different skin that reacts in different ways to the products we use, to the weather and to the region of the country in which we live. The good news is that most acne treatments include benzoyl peroxide as an active ingredient. This will help to dry out your skin.
In addition to using the correct facial cleanser and maybe even some medicine if your dermatologist chooses to prescribe some, you can try to beat the breakouts by carrying oil absorbing papers with you at school. Just dab ’em on your face after class or when you go to the bathroom. At the pharmacy, they’ll have some from Clean & Clear, or you can hit up Sephora and find blotting papers from Sisheido, Sephora brand and Boscia. And most important, make sure you nix the moisturizer!
