Period products

Life's full of little surprises, including unexpected periods. Keep a pad and tampon in the zipper pocket of your purse, just in case (or so you can save the day for another girlie).

Hand sanitizer

Avoid cringe-worthy bathroom moments without soap. (Head to Bath & Body Works for an amaze collection of scents.)

Medication

If you have asthma, allergies or anything that requires medication, *never* forget to carry that with you. (Yep, even if you're just hitting up the neighborhood sushi spot with your bestie.)

Portable charger

Literally *nothing* is worse than opening up our phone only to see that the battery is on 10%. Keep a charger on you—even better if it's portable so you won't need to search for an outlet.

Something to write with

inspiration waits for no woman! You never know when you want to jot down some ideas (or doodle when class gets boring).

Headphones

Whether you're working, studying or taking a chill break, tune out the chaos around you with a pair of headphones.

A snack

Keep your energy up with granola bars, fruit snacks or crackers. Snack attacks are real—and keeping one in your bag is the ultimate pick-me-up for a random craving.

Water bottle

Slay the hydration game with a cute water bottle. Not only is it cute, but it will also motivate you to drink more.

Emergency money

Cash rules *most* things around you. If you can, make sure to have a couple of extra dollars on hand in case of an emergency

Student or personal ID

IDs aren't just for legal stuff—they're also your ticket to adulting and pretty much any public space. As a teen, your ID can help you get cool opportunities like discounts at the movie theater or restaurants.
