Simple ways to stay active (no gym necessary!)
Whether you are in school or heading from your tutor sesh to violin practice to girls' night, your life is probably *super* busy. And trying to squeeze in a trip to the gym in between all of that? Yeah, right. Fortunately, you can stay active without hitting the weight room. Here are some ways to keep moving and health-ify even the busiest of days.
Say no to the elevator. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator will give you an extra bit of cardio, work your legs and glutes and boost your energy.
Stay hydrated. Water is essential and the more water you drink, the more you'll have to get up from the couch and take bathroom breaks. Two birds with one stone: more hydrated and more walking.
Clean. Okay so cleaning your room is not exactly the most fun thing in the world. But the chores you have to do each week are actually a great way to get up and get moving, while making Mom happy, too.
Take the longer way to class. Only if it won't make you late, of course!
Squeeze in a speedy sweat sesh. If you have the time, try to get in a quick workout routine before you get into bed or right after you wake up. It only takes 10 minutes and will make you feel *so* much better.
