Not a morning person? You can *still* wake up happy
When was the last time you woke up in the morning in a good mood? Mornings are *definitely* not for everyone, especially when you were up late the night before studying or your bed is just super cozy. But the a.m. sets the tone for the rest of your day, so starting it off positively is key. Here are our top tips for waking up, well, on the right side of the bed.
Skip the snooze. Change your alarm tone to your favorite song (no one wants to wake up to an annoying beeping noise). Bonus if you pick something with a catchy beat that makes you want to dance.
Eat a yummy breakfast. Plan your breakfast meal at night (overnight oats, anyone?) so that you wake up looking forward to eating something delicious and nutritious.
Wake up to natural light. Open your window and get some fresh air and light! If your room is dark you will convince yourself to sleep, waking up to fresh air and light will not only make you feel more awake but give you a little motivation to get up and go outside!
Plan a cute outfit. Picking out that perfect OOTD when you're tired can just make your mornings that much more stressful. Lay out what you want to wear the night before to make the a.m. routine easier.
Shower. Take a hot shower or bath and use your favorite scent of shampoos and body wash so you not only smell good, but feel fresh and wide awake.
