Eat your pie...and hang it too with this cute DIY
Yum, pumpkin pie. Turns out everyone's favorite fall dessert is as decorative as it is delicious. Spend a few minutes crafting this cute garland (something to do while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!) and hang it for all your fam to enjoy on turkey day. And if you're not a pumpkin pie fan, you can make an apple pie version. Or make both for an extra sweet touch.
You'll need:
Cardstock, in brown and orange
Scissors
Ruler
Twine
Hot glue gun
White pom poms (optional)
Directions:
1. Cut your orange cardstock into diamonds (you can choose the size and however many pieces of pie you want). Then fold each in half and secure with a dab of hot glue to create a triangle.
2. Cut your brown cardstock into thin strips and fold accordion style to make the ridges of the "crust". Glue each strip to the top edge of your pie shapes.
3. Glue a pom pom onto the center of each piece of pie if you'd like. Then, attach your slices to the twine and let it all dry. Hang for a festive feast!
