We're *obsessed* with this nerdy love story

With school comes work, and with work comes stress. Sometimes math probs and lit concepts are just *way* too difficult to comprehend, making us feel like we're lightyears behind all of the smarties who actually understand what the teach is talking about. Let's get real: How many of you have felt hatred toward a classmate because they understand a unit better than you? Yep—we've been there, done that.

In The Only Thing Worse Than Me is You by Lily Anderson, Trixie Watson understands this feeling better than anyone else. It’s her senior year at the Messina Academy for the Gifted, or “The Mess” as the students call it. All she really wants is to read comic books in the park, unbothered by her classmates. There’s only one thing standing in her way from a relatively easy year (besides from her school work, of course): Ben West.

Trixie has been in a war over class ranking with conceited, annoying fellow senior Ben for as long as she can remember. The two of them have been bouncing between the third and fourth spots on the list for the past three years. But this year? Ben West is going down.

Trixie's got that third spot locked...until her bestie starts dating Ben’s BFF. All of a sudden, Trixie is being forced to be amicable with Ben. As scandal rears its head and sparks fly, Trixie starts to realize that maybe Ben isn’t as bad as she'd thought.

Will Trixie fight the pressures and find happiness? Read The Only Thing Worse Than Me is You to find out!
