Forget prints and patterns, colors and
styles—the most important part of finding a bra is determining your
size. Did you know about 80 percent of women wear the wrong bra size?
You don’t have to be just another number, here’s a quick and easy guide
to finding the perfect bra.
Step one: Using a measuring
tape, measure around your ribcage right under your bust in inches. Make
sure the tape measure fits snugly and is horizontal. Then round to the
next even number, this will determine your band size. So if you
measured 33 inches, your band size should be 34 inches.
Step two:
Measure the fullest part of your bust in inches, but do not pull too
tightly. Next, round to the nearest whole number. If you measured
33.5 inches, then round up to 34 inches.
Step three:
Now here’s where you need to use those math skills! Subtract the band
size measurement from the bust size measurement to determine your cup
size. If the number is less than 1 inch, you’re probably an AA cup.
If the number is 2 inches, then you’re probably a B cup and so forth.
Step four:
Here comes the fun part, try on a bra! Different bras have different
styles, which can lead to different sizes. You want to make sure you
pick the one that is perfect for you. If you still need help, stores
such as Victoria’s Secret have professionals who can help you measure
your bra size for free!
Lots of love,
