I know you probably get his a lot, but how can you tell when a guy is into a girl or if they’re just friends? I have a huge crush on this guy that is in all of my classes, but he always hangs around this other girl. It’s annoying but I can’t do anything about it. I mean there’s nothing wrong with them hanging out, but it would make me feel less intimidated if I knew he just liked her as a friend.’

It is virtually impossible to try to figure out the minds of boys and we probably never will be able to understand everything. As far as finding out whether he likes this girl as a friend or if there is more to it, pay close attention to their body language and conversations. When a guy likes a girl as more than a friend, he hangs around her a lot and you may notice him flirting with her, too. For example, if they’re talking about a new movie, that’s no big deal; if he’s asking her to go with him to see the new movie, he probably likes her.

I understand you may feel it’s a bit annoying and that’s totally fine. Like you said, there is nothing wrong with them hanging out. There is also nothing wrong with you hanging out with him, too. There is no rule stating a guy can only hang out with one girl. So as long as they’re not dating, you’ve got to make your move, girl! Like my mom always said, you never know until you try!
