Aww…this was by far the cutest episode ever! But before I start gushing about how totally stoked I am for the happy new couple (I’ll get to the deets later), let’s get down to the nitty-gritty.
Well it’s all about the games in this little town and of course we can’t have an episode without a little bit of drama. Clay was still a teensy bit peeved about the whole Chrissy and Chase ordeal (understandably), so what does the lad do? Go out on a date with the scandalous, diva, Allie of course! Sigh, really? Payback? Are we five? When I saw their little date go down, I don’t know about yall, but I was totally screaming, “Noooo Clay, don’t go over to the dark-side.” A little melodramatic I know, but seriously I just can’t live in a world that is so topsy-turvy. And as usual, the news traveled at lightening speed to Chrissy’s ear. The hurt in her face when Sasha leaked the story completely broke my heart. *Tear*
Being the little matchmaker that she is, Sasha comes up with a great plan to throw a BBQ at Chrissy’s house. And the guest of honor? Clay of course! After Chrissy and Clay’s friends not so subtle-y leave them in the kitchen (ya gotta love friends), the awkward meter goes through the roof. I was completely shocked when Chrissy just came out and asked about Clay’s date with Allie. I didn’t know the girl had it in her. Jeeza piza! But all the squirming and bumbling was so worth it when they hugged and made up in the end. Eek!
Clay and Chrissy’s first date: Ugh don’t get me wrong, Clay is super-cute, but he is one slow turtle when it comes to making the moves. That’s why, when he called Chrissy (note: he never called Allie) for a date, I was beyond ecstatic! They were so cute at dinner flirting over the whole Prom scenario. Hello, earth to clay! Ya totally missed a perfect opportunity to ask Chrissy! It’s okay though, we forgive you, but ya better hurry up while the going is good. And a date wouldn’t be purrfect without THE goodnight kiss! I just want to give MTV a shout out for making the scene as cheesy as possible. It was so funny! As Sasha would say, “Toot Toot!”
Check back with me next week to dish some more dirt.
Hugs,
Jiae
