I have a problem. My Dad talks to me a lot about my feminine issues a lot. He asks if I need to get a new bra, about my periods, and stuff like that. I know he’s just trying to be a good dad, but it really makes me feel uncomfortable. Any ideas on how to come about telling him it makes me feel weird.

Your dad is really just concerned about you. You’re growing up and he wants to be apart of it, even if it is kind of awkward. Explain to dear, old dad that you are very happy that he notices that you’re not a little girl anymore but that his questions make you feel uncomfortable and that you will definitely keep him informed about your progress. Let him know that you will tell him if you do actually need a new bra or if your periods are unusual. He wants to help, but because he isn’t a girl, he doesn’t understand how things in the girl world work. Go easy on him! At least he’s trying!
Love ya,
