Hey Alex,
1. Take 15-30 minutes a day to exercise all those worries away. Buy a yoga tape, do crunches or run a few blocks. Even though you have a hectic schedule, making time to work out increases concentration, alleviates stress and gives you an extra boost of energy.
2. Slip in a 15 minute power nap before cramming for that final. Most students today don’t get enough sleep and without it, they feel sluggish and wired the next day. By taking a 15 minute nap a day (don’t take a longer one or you’ll be snoozin’ through study time) you will get that punch of energy that will help you get an A the next day.
3. Studies have proven that music calms and soothes your anxieties. Try listening to some classical music when you work or do your homework. When you find some free time to yourself, rock out to your latest Taylor Swift CD.
4. Make a game plan and visualize everything you need to get done. When you can picture your goals for the day and how much work you put into it, you’ll have less to worry about.
5. Make sure that your desk, room and your homework area is uncluttered. When everything is organized, you won’t have to stress over any missing books and you have a better grip on what you need to do.
6. Lastly, eat healthy. Forget all of that processed junk food to munch on! Snack on apples, carrots, yogurt, etc. If you eat right, you think right.
