Depression is a serious matter but everyone has felt depressed at some point in their lives. Depression can tear you down mentally as well as physically, so if you aren’t doing well in school this shouldn’t come as a surprise. You have to work on improving your surroundings in order to fix this.
Talk to your family members about how their fighting affects you. Let them know that it is hurting you academically and emotionally and that you want CHANGE. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to your family, find a faithful adult who can help you to overcome this troubling time. People care about your well-being so share your feelings with those who are interested and able to lead you to a resolution. Having your friends there is a start, but you really need an adult who will understand how to establish PEACE for you and your family. Consultation with a professional shouldn’t be frowned upon and may even be necessary.
Remember there are many people out there who are experiencing the same difficulties as you are or even worse. But in time things will get better for you, if you just voice your concerns. Picking up a journal may be something that you might also consider. Other stress relievers include listening to uplifting music, and exercising or doing both at the same time. Always stay POSITIVE and HOPEFUL, girl.
Love,
