We already knew that Emma Watson was basically the perfect Belle. After all, she's super smart, knows how to stand up for herself and others and is totally gorgeous. When it comes to real life Disney princesses, Emma fits the bill, so it was only a matter of time before she was officially cast as Belle in the upcoming live action Beauty and the Beast movie.

Disney's been all over the live action fairytales lately and so far they've given us some pretty amazing stuff. Maleficent was incredible and it looks like Cinderella's going to live up to its rep, too. We have no doubt that the new Beauty and the Beast is going to be just as good as we've come to expect from Disney and that Emma is going to rock the role.
