Must List

Taylor Swift just announced a deluxe version of Midnights (!!!)

The Swifties asked, and Taylor delivered! Taylor Swift just announced that the Midnights era is here to stay, with a new and improved tracklist and a surprise collab from up-and-coming rap artist Ice Spice. From the deluxe edition of Midnights to a secret vault track, here's everything you need to know about Taylor's latest announcement.

Karma featuring Ice Spice

In the wise words of Taylor Swift herself, Ice Spice is the "one to watch." Already having multiple star-studded collaborations under her belt (including Nicki Minaj and PinkPantheress), Ice Spice will be featured on a remix of "Karma," one of our fave dance-party tracks from Midnights. The collab will be released tomorrow at midnight (obviously), and we can't wait to see what Ice Spice brings to the song. Plus, from the looks of the picture Taylor posted (peep the "Seven" reference), there might even be a surprise music video on the way (fingers crossed!).

More Lana Del Rey

Speaking of collabs we heart, Lana Del Rey was featured on "Snow on the Beach," but many fans felt the track could use a bit more from her. And because both artists are known for keeping up with their fans' demands, Lana and Taylor re-recorded more parts for their iconic collab. As if the original track couldn't get any better, Lana will have an extended verse, giving Swifties and Lana Del Rey stans alike exactly what they asked for. "You asked for it, we listened," Taylor wrote in the announcement of the track.

The new edition of the collab will be available, alongside "Karma (feat. Ice Spice)" and "Hits Different" (finally, IYKYK) in the Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition) preorder release starting tomorrow at midnight EST.

A special track from the vault

If there's one thing Taylor loves, it's surprising Swifties with songs from the vault. A tradition that came about through the re-recordings of her previous works, from Fearless (Taylor's Version) to the latest re-release of Red (Taylor's Version), the vault tracks refer to songs recorded during the specific era that didn't make it to the original album tracklist.

The Midnights vault track "You're Losing Me" will be released exclusively through CDs found at the The Eras Tour during the East Rutherford, NJ shows. To any lucky Swifties attending these shows, the special edition CDs will be sold Friday starting at 12:30 p.m. EST. Whether or not this track will be released on Spotify later is yet to be seen (but we totally have our fingers crossed).
