During these past few months, bookworms have been taking this time to return to their favorite childhood series. For many, it meant cracking open the famous Harry Potter books and going back to the Wizarding World. From actual Hogwarts classes on Google Classrooms to the upcoming release of the video game Hogwarts Legacy, Harry Potter is been becoming more and more popular. TikTok has sparked another new era of Potterheads, and now Harry Potter TikTok is something that Gen Z has been incredibly invested in.

Gen Z's obsession with characters Draco Malfoy, Cedric Diggory, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Oliver Wood and the Weasley twins inspired thousands of POVs, or point of view TikToks, that live on the For You page. The POV would have the creator "interacting" with one of the characters in some kind way, most often romantically. Some POVs are incredibly creative. For example, the Amortentia potion trend has been tugging the heartstrings of many fans.

Even though Draco Malfoy was the "bad boy" of the series, people can't help but love that part of him. Draco Malfoy fans have even found an audio that sounds like Draco humming. If you place your phone under your pillow while playing the sound, it could feel like Draco is right there next to you singing his favorite song.

The Yule Ball trend on TikTok has also been very popular. The POV would include one of the heartthrob characters asking the TikToker to the ball. These videos are not only super realistic, they are also incredibly adorable and heartfelt. Some of these POVs include intricate love triangles and captivating dance proposals.

When asked whether he's seen Draco TikTok, Tom Felton (who plays Draco Malfoy in the movies) answered, "No I haven't—I've heard about it. I haven't seen it. I'm a bit scared." Felton's quickly risen to TikTok fame in these past few months, with most of his videos reaching 2 million views. One of his most popular TikToks was a POV of him reacting to Draco TikTok. Of course, it was all fun and games. He told his fans to "hide nothing" and that he finds all of this hilarious.

Other TikTokers have been changing up the films' endings in their own videos, and some of them have given Draco Malfoy the redemption he deserved.

Tom Felton commented "Finally. The true ending" on this video. How beautiful is that?

A lot of TikToks were also quite sad, reflecting on the fact that Harry, Ron and Hermione "were just kids" when they had to go through all the drama and violence of the Battle of Hogwarts.

Harry Potter TikTok has also allowed creators to share everything they believed was portrayed wrong in the films, including specific racial stereotypes. This was a way for the fans to reclaim what they felt was robbed from them. This included posting videos about how they felt about "token" characters Cho Chang, Padma and Parvarti Patil, and many more whose entire storyline was built off a stereotype.

Creators also felt inspired to emulate distinct styles for each house by using their creativity and what they thought Hogwarts students would wear in today's modern era.

One TikToker even ordered Hermione Granger's famous Yule Ball dress and shared it to the community as well.

Users have been standing up for characters who they felt were "underrated", including Ron Weasley. Being Harry Potter's best friend and the youngest boy in the Weasley family, it was definitely difficult for Ron to get attention and affection from his classmates and even sometimes his family. But he definitely has a special place in Harry Potter TikTok.

All the Harry Potter TikTok creators (and watchers) have one thing in common: their love for the series. It continues to inspire the best content on TikTok, and users have been putting their best foot forward in creating these kinds of videos. And we can all agree with Harry Potter when he said, "I love magic."
