Livies, this is not a drill: The Unraveled Tour has begun. With a stage full of flowers, a costume change that’s fit for a museum and the “cigarette smoke” (rock version) live debut, Olivia’s concert feels like a srsly cinematic experience.

Seasons Of Love

OR3 shook the world with its chapter-by-chapter tracklist that feels like watching a love story unfold in real time. And Olivia’s Unraveled Tour trades these chapters for seasons, with aesthetic video interludes to break up her performance’s chapters.

Other than the video interludes, viewers can watch the seasons change as Olivia’s onstage garden begins to lose flowers. One v. sweet standout was Olivia’s passing of a bouquet to BFF Madison Hu during the “stupid song” lyric, “And if there is a god/It’s the bond that’s between us two” (bestie goals!). Oh and if you’re one of the lucky Livies who received one of the flowers during Olivia’s “good 4 u” freak-out sesh, consider us jealous.

Dissolving Dress

Olivia’s performance of “the cure” has already gone majorly viral–and it’s not just because of her killer vocals.

During the song’s bridge, Olivia’s vocals bring on a downpour of rain that dissolves her dress onstage. The tour’s title comes full circle as Liv’s fashion choices literally unravel with the song’s outro. Afterward, Liv streams her quick change from backstage, laces up her Converse and somehow makes her wet hair the most picture-perfect accessory.

Her corresponding costume changes are just as beautiful as her seasonal interludes. Beginning her spring season, Liv kicks off in a romantic babydoll dress, fitted with puff sleeves and custom embroidered shorts for “u + me = <3” (keep an eye out for your city in the stitching!).

So far, summer has rotated between a bedazzled cropped tank with pink micro shorts–or a blue halter top paired with yellow micro shorts. The fit perfect for the rocker energy she brings with “my way” and “ballad of a homeschool girl.”

Liv’s autumn look stuns in a purple leather mini dress and corresponding choker. But winter is what has everyone’s heads turning, with a pleated, white dress dissolving to a red, latex underlayer onstage. Olivia ends the show full-circle with her second spring. And she’s been styling effortlessly cool choices, like a timeless white tank and dark-wash jeans.

If you thought the original “cigarette smoke” had you in shambles, just wait for Olivia’s rocker rendition. During the song’s bridge, Liv’s belt literally lights up the whole stadium before the strobe lights kick off an electric guitar solo and gut-wrenching high notes. With the way this heartbreaking beautiful version has blown up our feeds, we’re keeping our eyes open (and fingers crossed) for a recorded track.

To those familiar with Olivia’s “deja vu” crowd battles, it should come as no surprise that Liv has come equipped with multiple chances to out-scream the other side of the stadium.

In previous interviews, Olivia has expressed excitement for fans to fill the stadium with the “maggots for brains” outro–and, let’s just say, the Livies have delivered. The outro’s overlapping phrases can be heard for miles as Olivia splits the stadium between the lines “What can I do/But think of you,” and “When my baby goes away,” to see which side can scream louder.

Closing out the night with a bang, “expectations” has all the girls keeping their standards sky-high. Liv has the boys belting “She’s got big expectations!” and the girls repeating their confident mantra “*I’ve* got big expectations!”

During “stupid song,” Liv’s walking through the barricade with her head high. Some lucky Livies in the front row get to be a part of the show as Olivia sings right against the crowd and directly into the camera.
