After putting girl so in love on constant repeat, we wholeheartedly believed it was impossible to love Olivia Rodrigo any more. Then, this past Saturday, she held her inaugural, women-led music festival—aka Daisy Chain Fields—in Irvine, California.

Every Daisy Chains attendee seemed to put their own unique personal style on display, whether that meant channeling one certain Midwest princess or rocking out in comfy-cool jeans and flower-adorned merch.

Daisy Chain Fields’ performer lineup was basically our girlpower pump up playlist. But, like, IRL.
From longtime riot grrrl royalty (hello, Bikini Kill!) to the acts currently topping the charts (yes, that was Doechii who was painted completely pink from head-to-toe), the festival brought together multiple generations of talented female artists. And, of course, Olivia herself headlined, giving fans a chance to hear the hits from OR3 live, plus jam to her just-released anthem “serena joy.”

One of our fave parts of Daisy Chain Fields? The wishing tree art installation at the festival’s entrance, which encouraged passersby to write down wishes they had for their future on slips of paper and tie them to a branch.
According to Olivia’s Insta, those dreams ranged from the funny (“I hope my dog lives forever”) to the very real (“I hope the world becomes more peaceful”). “It made me so emotional, and I realized that was exactly why Daisy Chain meant so much to me,” she wrote in her caption. “The artwork reminded me of how we are all much more alike than we are different. And how deep down, we all just want to help each other and make the world a better place.”

Warning: Watching Liv surprise audiences with Stevie Nicks and a cover of “Landslide” may cause instant waterworks. And don’t even get us started on that tear-jerking Dolly Parton tribute with Sarah McLachlan or powerhouse “Ironic” duet with Alanis Morissette….

Thanks to a sizable donation from Olivia (matched by philanthropist Melinda French Gates), Daisy Chain Fields raised approximately $20 million for nonprofit organizations that specifically benefit women and girls. The best part? It’s not too late to pitch in for a great cause (or ten), as fans can still donate right here.
