Tick, tock…it’s almost time to return to Wonderland!
The fifth installment in Disney’s hit franchise, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland premieres tonight on Disney Channel. Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to stream the movie on Disney+ and listen to the soundtrack wherever you get your music.
To say we’re *hyped* to reunite with Red of Hearts and Chloe Charming (and meet all the new additions to the crew) would be a huge understatement. And that’s not the only thing we’re pumped for—read on for every reason we’re so ready for another Descendants adventure. Our current level of excitement? Straight-up R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S.
🩵 New timeline just dropped.
Red and Chloe said (er, sang) it best: “Uh, oh. Big consequences.”
Now that the dynamic duo has traveled back to present day—although not without altering the fabric of time—everything seems a tad upside-down. Red’s got a peppy new sister in Liamani Segura‘s character, Princess Pink, along with a mom who’s suddenly gentle and kind. Chloe’s world has gone equally topsy-turvy, with Cinderella showering her daughter with gifts and claiming she’s “always dreamed of being a true princess” (Uh, the humble Cinderella we met in Rise of Red would beg to differ…).
Chances are, there’s a whole lot more madness where these plot twists came from. What other unexpected changes await in the “new” version of Auradon? We’ll find out tonight.
♥️ Love is in the air.
We’re not just talking about the now-reformed Queen of Hearts; rumor has it that Wicked Wonderland may feature a dash of romance. Based on some subtle flirty vibes in the trailers and a few of Kylie Cantrall’s red carpet comments, it seems like we can expect Miss Red to encounter a new love interest. Looking at you, Luis Madrigal!
🩵 Enter: A wickedly good soundtrack.
Fans have been fortunate enough to hear three (!) singles from Wicked Wonderland already: “Perfect Princess,” “Dancing with the Enemy” and “Mad – Wicked Wonderland.”
No surprise here: All three songs have been absolute bops, with extremely catchy hooks (we physically cannot stop spelling out “P-R-I-N-C-E-S-S”) and energy worthy of a full-on musical number. The entire soundtrack will be available to stream starting tomorrow, July 17.
Everyone’s got T-minus seven hours to claim their top track. We call “Heartless!”

♥️ Chloe Charming’s villain arc?
The latest teaser for the movie (check it out above!) made us wonder what exactly is in store for certified sweetheart Chloe Charming. All this talk of “thinking like a villain” suggests one of our perfect princesses might be tapping into her rotten side. And the teaser even hints at a twisty transformation for Chloe, who we hear asking Red, “Like the new me?” We love to see a good girl gone wicked.
🩵 The fashion never misses.
If the stunning looks at Tuesday’s in-person premiere were any indication, Wicked Wonderland is about to set it off in the style department. Descendants movies always kill it with the rebellious chic wardrobe inspo, but we’re predicting this flick will take that to the next level.
Whether it’s Red’s iconic leather vest, Pink’s flouncy tutu skirt or the mystery look that Chloe will no doubt rock if she turns to the dark side, we’re preparing to see some ensembles that are, ahem, mad cute.
