This weekend, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are rumored to transform Madison Square Garden into a venue fit for a fairytale wedding ceremony. Here’s everything we know about the highly anticipated event that’s sure to have us positively enchanted…
Two-Day Wedding Shut-Down
While the rest of NYC is lit up with World Cup hype and Fourth of July celebrations, MSG is reported to be shut down for two events across this weekend. While it hasn’t been confirmed that the reservation is for Taylor and Travis, fans were quick to speculate that it was a high-profile event—thanks to the intense security and street closures in the area.
Some Swifties think that the MSG reservation for Thursday night is the couple’s rehearsal dinner. Given that the reservation includes about 100 people, theories suggest that MSG’s Infosys Theater Lobby will host the prequel to Friday’s celebrations.
There’s also an alleged reservation from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday night—which some gals think is the big wedding celebration. (Given Taylor’s incredible Eras Tour run and 3.5-hour long concerts, we know that this pop star’s stamina is off-the-charts—but this 12-hour wedding tijme block might have her setting a new personal best when it comes to the events that have guests dancing through the night.)
Despite the spectacle outside of MSG, Swifties are still popping the question: Is Taylor *actually* hosting a wedding in a sports arena?

Setting The Stage
Given the gorgeous Eras Tour Folklore cabin, Taylor has proven her ability to transform stadiums—so it comes as no surprise that MSG could be the site of her latest dramatic makeover.
On June 30, sources began spotting large buses moving in and out of the building, plus trucks hauling huge boxes into the loading dock. Some standout spectacles include a floral truck and a 40” disco ball (hiii, “Mirrorball” fans).
The absence of windows in the arena provides privacy from the public eye, despite being in the heart of NYC. Not to mention, the underground parking allows for Taylor and Travis’ star-studded guest list to make discrete entrances (perhaps through those transportation buses we’ve spotted?).

Star-Studded Guest List
From her iconic girl squad to her Secret Session listening parties, to be a part of Taylor’s coveted crew isn’t easy. So it’s no shock that we’re absolutely fangirling over Taylor’s guest list.
Reportedly, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the HAIM sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Sombr and Selena Gomez will be in attendance. And with such a large-scale event, we don’t doubt the rumors that those who will be in attendance were required to sign NDAs—and that the events will be strictly no-phone zones.
Fans are also speculating that Taylor will continue her long-beloved surprise songs tradition, with a rumored performance of Stevie Nicks to top off the evening.
