You know that feeling when you’re weirdly excited to have your emotions completely wrecked? (If you haven’t experienced this yet, get *so* ready.)
After a three-year show hiatus, Phoebe Bridgers has just announced her return to the stage, and we couldn’t be more excited for a fresh dose of her amazing lyricism and unforgettable storytelling.
Phoebe announced her exciting comeback after a month of impromptu, low-key performances at small venues. These shows were unique because they were advertised with printed flyers instead of social media. There was also a strict no-phone policy enforced for each show.
Now, our favorite indie folk artist has announced her official tour, called The Lost Tour. The tour will officially begin in Indianapolis on Sept. 15. Presale ended on June 11 (and tix sold out in minutes, unfortunately), but don’t worry if you missed it! You can still snag resale tix on Seatgeek or StubHub.

An important note if you’re planning on attending: Even though Phoebe will be playing in much bigger venues, the sentiment still remains: She wants to encourage intimacy and being present in the moment, so the no-phone policy still applies. (Fans have to place their phones in Yondr pouches, where they will be tucked away for the entirety of the concert.)
In an era where such a huge part of an artist’s visibility comes from creating viral concert moments, Phoebe’s analog approach is unique—and we’re def here for it. So maybe you won’t be seeing viral clips from her show on your FYP or be able to share your favorite part of the concert to your Snap Story, but tbh, maybe we all need to learn a lesson from Phoebe’s “chronically offline” mentality and instead embrace the magic of simply being present in the moment.
On another note, not only are no phones allowed at the venues, but even pens and paper have been banned to prevent potential leaks of new music.
Luckily, there’s nothing we love more than a little mystery, and fans are theorizing that her seemingly random tour locations are actually linked to places with high UFO and alien activity. Whether this leads to clues about a new album or is just a fun way to decide on venues, we’re stoked to see what’s next!
