BEST BESTIES: Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked
Huge shoutout to that Munchkin woman who asked whether Elphie and Glinda were ever friends. Without her, we would’ve missed the spellbinding story of these roommates and their sister-like bsf bond. Sure, they might have gotten off to a horrendible start (cue “What Is This Feeling?”), but their heart-melting dance at the Ozdust Ballroom reminds us that pink really does go well with green.
BEST BROMANCE: Percy and Grover from Percy Jackson and the Olympians
We all need a Grover in our life—that peacemaker pal who packs the best snacks for any quest, sings the “Consensus Song” at the first sign of conflict and, oh yeah, promises to be our forever protector. Though they initially teamed up after being stuck at the “bottom of the food chain” (Percy’s words, not ours), this duo is destined for Olympus-level heights in the upcoming season two.
CUTEST COUPLE: Nick and Charlie from Heartstopper
This pair proves that a classroom seating chart can, in fact, lead you to the love of your young life. While we’ll never get over their tender meet-cute, secret kisses, adorable prom outfit reveals or that long-awaited “I love you,” it’s their deeper connection—and unwavering support for each other through mental health struggles—that truly earns them the crown.
MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED: Red from Descendants: The Rise of Red
OK, so she’s no by-the-books Rory Gilmore, but hear us out: Red uses her street smarts, sharp self-awareness and
resourceful nature to go after what she wants. Giving up isn’t her style—even when facing off against a sea witch or her royally evil mom. The OG VKs would definitely be proud.
MOST CHANGED: Regina from Mean Girls
Regina George’s total personality transformation hit us like a bus (too soon?). Turns out all it takes is a close call (and a corrective neck collar) for cinema’s most iconic queen bee to re-evaluate her ways. Her heart-to-heart with Cady at the Spring Fling, where they officially call a truce, is proof that it’s never too late to take accountability—and let Burn Books be bygones.
MOST LIKELY TO BE LATE FOR CLASS: Billie from Wizards Beyond Waverly Place
She may have been kicked out of WizTech, but it certainly wasn’t due to a lack of power. Billie is the headstrong heroine we’ve been missing—stubborn, spunky and always ready to show us mere mortals that things aren’t always what they seem. Welcome back, Alex Russo.

Enemies-to-lovers enthusiasts, unite! The once snarky dynamic between these two has turned into a swoon-worthy spark. They’ve gone from foes to flirting to foes again more times than we can count. But Peter saw it when he visited Kitty abroad, and we see it, too: They’re endgame.
MOST LIKELY TO BE GOSSIPED ABOUT: Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah from The Summer I Turned Pretty
Move over, Bella, Edward and Jacob—the three heartthrobs of Cousins Beach are coming for your crown (translation: everyone’s picking sides). An ultra-relatable main character, her brooding on-again/off-again beau and his admittedly charming golden retriever-esque brother are the perfect recipe for riveting romantic drama (returning this summer!).
MOST MEMORABLE FITS: Emily from Emily in Paris
We won’t go so far as to say “Best Dressed,” but even her skeptical boss Sylvie has to admit that Emily’s commitment to bold style choices is admirable. Sure, there are a few early ensembles we’d rather forget (that orange printed fedora comes to mind), but in season four, Emily’s mix of silhouettes, monochrome moments and, ofc, ties galore inspires us to keep fashion fun.
