{related}The number of children abused in the United States is increasing every year. And guess what? Members of The AmberWatch Foundation have had enough! They’ve created an organization that raises awareness about the issue of child molestation, abuse and abduction, and have even extended it to a group of kids (The AmberWatch Foundation Youth Coalition) who were so concerned about the issues and wanted to do all they could to help keep their peers safe.
Even some of our fave teen celebs are joining in on the action! The AmberWatch Foundation Youth Coalition held a Fun Faire recently to raise awareness and welcomed Selena Gomez as the new chair, replacing music sensations Aly and AJ. Before handing over the title, the duo talked about their involvement in the organization for the last three years and the impact it’s had on their lives.
After speeches were made and introductions passed on, the celebs headed backstage for an afternoon of carnival games at the Backstage Creations VIP area, which included some awesome interactive games from UBISOFT. Pretty cool right?
