If there's one thing Uggs have taught us, it's that you don't need to sacrifice style for comfort. But choosing just one is no easy task. While shopping for *your* perfect pair of Uggs, here are some basic factors to note. 

Boot lengths: The four key lengths include tall (max-cozy effect), short (a forever classic), mini (not too tall, not too short) and ultra-mini (so cute).

Platform vs. no platform: Whether you're a platform or no platform girly for life, there's no wrong answer—Ugg offers both!

Slippers: Want a staple shoe to slip on and go? In that case, Ugg slippers > boots, all the way. The Tasman/Tazz is amaze for everyday outfits, and for a chic flair, opt for ones with fur trim.

How to waterproof your Uggs

POV: You're ready to rock your new Uggs...but it's raining! Although Uggs sadly aren't waterproof, DW, there's an easy fix. By purchasing a waterproofing spray (we love the ones from Nikwax or Ugg), say bye to rain-drenched Uggs for good.

Helpful tip: Don't forget to reapply every once in a while to keep them in tip-top shape! And uh, don't go splashing through puddles in them, pls.

Yes, Uggs need some self-care, too! When cleaning your boots, keep in mind these dos and don'ts...

+ DO hand wash only.
+ DO use the right product, like the Ugg Cleaner & Conditioner ($15).
+ DO use a damp cloth with cold water and take your time to scrub gently.
+ DON'T clean them in the washing machine.
+ DON'T scrub too hard (it can damage the material).
+ DON'T rush the process. Let your Uggs air-dry naturally for a day or two in a cool environment, away from heat and direct sunlight.
