You thought you knew your friend, but it turns out she’s totally out to get you. She knows about that cute guy you like and got him to ask you out…as a complete joke!

This guy I like asked me out but then he just kept laughing. He said he did it for a dare and he would never go out with me! I was so totally crushed that he would do something like that. Then I found out my best friend told him to do it. Now my BFF and I aren’t talking anymore. What should I do?

BFF Fix-It: Wow, your BFF sounds totally toxic. There’s a difference between funny jokes and just plain cruel ones…and your friend crossed the line. You need to tell her straight up that it was really uncool of her to do that and then ask her why. If she doesn’t provide a good enough answer, it may be time to consider cutting her out of your life for awhile. I’m sure you have plenty of other friends that wouldn’t do that to you. As for the boy, I would seriously consider moving on. If he really liked you, it would never cross his mind to say that he could never imagine going out with you. That is beyond rude! You deserve a boy that respects your feelings.
