Checking Things Out
When you first leave your house do a "check list."
Do you have your first aid kit?
Do you have a report card for the child? (A report card is optional, but parents appreciate them)
Do you have your cell phone? (Remember a cell phone when you are babysitting is ONLY for emergency purposes, NOT to chat with your friends)
Do you have a kid kit filled with fun stuff for the kiddies? Before the parents of the child you are babysitting leave, ask emergency phone numbers, allergies, weight, (if you need to give the child and Benadryl, or other medicine), bedtime, (If you need it), etc.
