This summer, I went on my best friend’s Facebook and pretended to be her. I said really mean things and embarrassed her publicly. I went to her house and I have written her letters that say I am truly sorry, but she has replaced me with other friends.

Ouch girl, that sounds like a really tough sitch to be in. I know you regret what you did, but ya can't blame your friend for still having hard feelings about it. Put yourself in her shoes. How would you feel if she did that to you? It would prob be really hard to trust her again, right? But on the other hand, everyone makes mistakes and should be given a second chance. Take this approach with your friend.

It's great that you've apologized and tried to make it up to her. But, unfortunately, things like this don't just get solved overnight. It'll take some time for her to know she can trust you again. Try to meet up with her to talk about what's going on. If she doesn't answer your phone calls, hand deliver a note to her house to make sure that she gets it. Don't expect her to call right away. Give her some time to digest what you're saying. It'd be best if you can meet with her face-to-face, but if that's not possible and you have to talk on the phone on in the letter, try to be as sincere as possible.

Tell her WHY you think you did this to her. Were you jealous about something? Were you just having a bad day? If you open up and admit your own faults instead of talking about the bad things you wrote about her, she will probably be more understanding. Don't make excuses for what you did. Admit that you were wrong and that truly are sorry.

Again, give her some time to think about it and let her talk to you about her side of the story. Hopefully, if it's a strong enough friendship and you are willing to work on it, you can solve this problem and start your friendship over, without any Facebook drama involved.
