Sweet Dreams With Dream Catchers!

I bring dream catchers when I babysit and I can't get the kids to go to sleep. They think the dream catchers will give them the greatest dreams so they hop into bed. The next time I babysit, they want to go to bed earlier and use the dream catchers. It's amazing how well it works!

How to make an easy dream catcher?

The dream catcher is believed to catch a person’s dreams. Bad dreams stay in the net, while the good ones filter down to the feathers! Make this cool craft with your kiddies.

Grab a paper plate, some string, feathers and beads. Cut the middle of the paper plate out, leaving just the edge. This will be the frame of your dream catcher. Color, paint, use colorful nail polish, put sparkles or any sort of decor on your frame.

Punch a few holes in the edge of the plate. Pull the string through the holes, haphazardly, to create a web. Leave two holes empty for the bottom piece.

To create the bottom piece, tie some beads, feathers, shells, whatever to two pieces of string. Tie the two strings to the bottom of your dream catcher, and let ‘em dangle!
