“Why don’t you want a guy?” is not a question you’re not into...at all. You enjoy livin’ the single life and doin’ your own thang. And, to make it worse, your BFF is always putting you down because of it.  She thinks she is the Queen Bee and everyone is in love with her! Well, newsflash for her: there's at least one person who isn't.

My BFF is always so dramatic. Not just kinda sorta over-the-top about some things either – but everything is soo dramatic!  Everything has to be her way, and all she ever talks about is guys. I enjoy being single, but whenever I’m around her, she’ll say, “Why don’t you want a guy? You’re probably not good enough anyway.”  She’s also always bragging about how good her looks are and how everybody likes her. One time she even wrote me a note about how popular she is and how every girl at school is jealous of her. HELP!  I’m so sick of her!

BFF Fix-It: Don’t let this diva get you down. She might not know she’s making you feel bad in her attempt to boost her own self-esteem. Try talking to her when it's just you two after school or over the weekend. Let her know that you don’t mind her being happy with herself, but you think it’s not cool that she is always putting you down and questioning your ideas. If she totally flips out on you and tells you that you’re just going to have to get over it, it might be time to move on. But try chattin’ first, and if it doesn’t go too well, think twice!
