Invasion of the BF Snatchers

You and your two besties are thisclose...until you catch that cutie in class. Suddenly your BFFs seem to be oh-so-interested in your BFF. They beg and beg you for his digits until you give in. Uh-oh, big mistake.

There are these two girls who I’ve been BFFs with for a while now. We did everything together all the time, but then I got a boyfriend. After I got my BF, they both begged for his number. I finally gave in and handed it over, but and as soon as I did, they started texting him non stop! I found out that they both liked him too (while I was still dating him). A couple of weeks later, I broke up with him because there was another guy who I liked and I couldn’t stand the drama that our relationship was causing!

When I went to break it to him that I wasn’t ready for a boyfriend, he told me, “That’s OK because I’m going out with one of your friends already,” and acted like a total jerk about it! I went back to my BFF to ask her if it was true and she said, “Well, you weren’t good enough for him anyways!” The other friend never told him she liked him which was good, but the one who did and was dating him was being so mean to me! She tried to apologize, but it just turned into her insulting me. So much for saying she was sorry!

BFF Fix-It: Wow! Your “BFF” is sure not any BFF I would like to have! How dare she date the same guy you are dating, and then tell you you’re not good enough!? Um, no one deserves the kind of disrespect that your so-called closest chickas and your BF just dished out. Dump 'em all!

You could try talking it out with your BFFs but sadly, it might turn into another insult-slinging fiasco. If you really want to patch things up try writing a neutral letter telling them how you feel about all of this. But, I think these friendships have really reached the point of no return. Ditch this crew and hang with a new (drama-free preferably!) one.
