Sweet 'n' Sour Sistahs

Your friend needs a ride home from school, so she follows you around acting like a BFF.  The next day at lunch, she does everything possible to leave you out of her convos. What gives with these sweet 'n' sour sistahs?

My friends have a habit of excluding people. Every day during lunch, my BFF and I are constantly pushed out of the conversation. Then, our "friends" never fill us in on what we missed. I usually don't even know if they got new boyfriends until I hear it around school. But whenever we try to sit somewhere else, they confront us for avoiding them. It's ridiculous!
Eventually, we started leaving in the middle of conversations to sit at a table alone. Luckily, they never noticed, unless they need a favor. Then they follow us around like puppies. I tried talking (and sometimes yelling) at them, but they wouldn't listen. Finally, my BFF broke down crying. I thought that would finally get the message through, but it didn't. They just yelled at her, like it was her fault that they were ignoring us. I just don’t know what to do with them anymore!

BFF Fix-It: Wow, girlie. These chicas don’t seem like “friends” at all!  Your best bet is finding a new lunch table to sit at PERMANENTLY, because these girls sooo aren’t worth your time.  They don’t seem to care about you or your BFF for real, so I’d say give 'em the boot!
How do you get rid of these frenemies? It's time to branch out, babe. Make some new buds who care about ya and give you the R-E-S-P-E-C-T that you deserve. You and your BFF could try out for the tennis team, join the school newspaper or chat it up with some new chicas in your classes. Your new friends are guaranteed to like you for the great, smart, fun girls that you really are. Go for it!
