Get a Presh 'N' Fresh Ponytail

Wanna make your hair glam in a flash? Sweep your hair back into a pretty pony for a simple spring style. These ponies are worlds away from the ones ya sport on the softball field. Girly accessories, sweet waves and new parts make ’em modern. But just cause these are a li’l fancy doesn’t mean they’ll take you more than five minutes to, uh, ’do!
Bejeweled
An elastic with rhinestones makes strands romantic. Use a comb to brush hair into a low, side ponytail and secure with a small, clear elastic behind your ear. Wrap the bling-y elastic so the flower faces front. Wanna make it extra dressy? Use a curling iron to put a few bouncy curls near the bottom.
Slicked-back
Ponies that are sleek in the front are sizzlin’ for spring. We like ours with a li’l extra oomph in the back (think: brushed-out waves). The night before you wanna rock this ’do, shower and leave hair damp. Apply a dab of mousse. Weave hair into 3-4 braids and secure with elastics (don’t worry, no one’s gonna see you!) and hit the sack. When you wake up, undo the braids and brush hair out. You’ll be left with kinda wild waves. Brush hair back into a high pony and secure with an elastic. Finish with some shine serum to get a glossy finish!
Retro
Wide fabric headbands are an easy way to accent a retro outfit. Pull hair into a medium-low pony and keep it loosely in place with an elastic. Put on the headband and you’re set! Seriously. Oh, and this style looks best a little messy, so don’t fret if your tresses are tousled.

Primly Parted
Use a rattail comb to create a super-straight center part. Gather hair into a low pony at the nape of your neck and keep in place with an elastic. Take a small section of hair from the back of your ponytail and wind it around the elastic. Secure the piece of hair behind your pony with two criss-crossed bobby pins. How posh!
