The Beauty of Bein in Business

We all know beauty isn’t just about what’s on the outside. Now we’re gonna feature gorgeous articles that show a glimpse of inner beauty, too. Presh, right? Thanks to our blogger babe bubbagirl for the sweet idea!

Need a snap of inspiration? This week, we’re totally impressed by Maddie Bradshaw, the creator of SNAP CAPS. In 5th grade, Maddie thought  to use her uncle's old bottle caps as magnets for her locker. Soon, the idea morphed into necklaces with magnetic bottle caps, so girls could swap their style on a whim. Brilliant! Soon she sold ’em to a local store and her business took off.

Maddie teamed up with her mom and younger sister Margot and started making tons of these accessories with different sayings, prints and themes. The business got to be so big that the fam expanded the business to M3 (which stands for Maddie, Margot and Mom, btw) Girl Designs. They now have 20 employees and sell 30,000 SNAP CAPS a month in 500 stores around the country. Hello, success story.

M3 Girl Designs has made a pile of cash from their biz and has donated necklaces to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The gals raised $3,000 at an auction for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! And now? Maddie’s workin’ on a book about kids who go into business.
