Cute Christmas insta-party: Throw a candy cane hunt!
Invite the crew
For cousins and sibs in your house, craft impromptu invites you can drop on their pillows in the morning, or slip into their places before breakfast. For buds, send a cute and quick e-vite. We’re loving this one.
Eat this
Make it a peppermint extravaganza! Bake up some peppermint fudge brownies. Whip up a batch of dark chocolate peppermint bark (get the recipe here), break it up, and serve in pretty plates or glass Mason jars.
Play this
Pin the nose on Rudolph, Blind Man’s Bluff with Santa as the man himself (have a beard and hat ready!) and penguin races (waddle to the finish line!).
Grand finale? Scavenger hunt time!
As the hostess, it’ll be your job to hide the (wrapped) candy canes. Send everyone outside for a few minutes while you put them all over the house. Be sure to keep track of where they are and how many you’ve hidden. Kids will looove tracking ‘em down (and hiding them for you, too), so feel free to hit replay when your first hunt is over.
