Help! Guys won't date me because I won't "do" anything
These cute guys all think I'm pretty, but they don’t
ask me out because they think I won’t “do” anything. How can I convince them to
go out with me?
Bill: A great poet,
W.H. Auden, wrote that we want not to be loved but “to be loved alone.”
Typically, a guy doesn’t ask a pretty girl out because he’s convinced she won’t
love only him. Just find a guy you really like, and let him know that, despite
your good looks, you really like him.
Dave: Without
getting all literary, I recommend being yourself. But careful what you wish
for. Do you really want to go out with a cute guy because he wants you to “do”
something? It’s best to sort those issues out after you’ve established a solid
relationship.
