Why is it most guys don’t like to shop? I don't really mind that boys don't like shopping, but I wonder if there’s a reason most girls love it while most guys hate it.

Bill: Let’s go back to caveman days. Guys would go out, throw a heavy rock and bring home whatever it happened to hit. It didn’t make much sense to “shop” for a target, since it could eat them if they hung around too long. Meanwhile, girls, back in the cave, could choose from any of the animals the guys brought back. No fear of being eaten. For girls, shopping was kinda fun; for guys, it was a death-defying feat. Can you blame us for skipping the mall and watching the game instead?

Dave: Indeed, girls are to shopping like guys are to sports. In fact, girls approach shopping as if it were a sport, looking for a certain tee like a guy trying to score a basket at the buzzer. Guys are just…different. H&M is a much more pleasant place for girls to go with their chick friends.
