It’s that time of year! Summerween is here! If you’re a fan of Gravity Falls, then you know all about Summerween, and we have the best tricks and treats to host the best spooky summer party ever! Here are some decorations and activity ideas to have an unforgettable time.

Decorations

Dust off those skeletons! Summerween decor is no different from the usual Halloween cobwebs, just with a total tropical twist. If you have leftover Halloween skeletons, give them some sunglasses or a Hawaiian shirt. It’s a subtle change, but makes all the difference. (Pro tip: they also make great props for a photoshoot!)

For a summery twist on a classic activity, try watermelon and pineapple carving. This activity does require some additional help, but it’s the perfect touch to any Summerween party. Grab your scooper and get to carving!

With the weather warming up, it’s the proper occasion to bring out the projector and watch a spooky movie outdoors. Some of our fave movie ideas include Scooby Doo (2002), Addams Family Values, any Monster High movie and ParaNorman.

Snacks

For a sweet treat, there is truly nothing better than classic chocolate-covered strawberries. Here’s a Summerween twist on these favorites: boo berries! Instead of the usual milk chocolate, try white chocolate and use chocolate syrup for the eyes and mouth. It’s the perfect addition for a holiday spread.

Another simple snack for the heat is ice cream sandwich coffins. Simply cut off the top corners of the ice cream sandwich to mimic the shape of a coffin and BOOM—you’ve got a spooky and delish DIY treat.
