As The Hunger Games series continues to take over our TikTok FYPs, let's revisit Suzanne Collins's prequel novel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, released 2020. If you're a fan of the series, this book is a total must. Scorpios, it's time to dive into this dystopian world once more (and right now is the *best* time to read it, before the film adaptation arrives next fall!).

A standout novel that took the world by storm, The Hate U Give delivers hard-hitting messages, through a well-written story that tackles issues of racism and police brutality. This book will stay with you long after you put it down and spark a lot of heavy-yet-important discussions. Our passionate, dedicated Caps won't be able to put this one down. 

Aquarius: When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead

Friend breakups? All too relatable. But time travel and secret messages? Not so much. Set in New York City in the 1970s, this mind-bending read focuses on the story of Miranda, a middle schooler who's finding her independence and coming of age in an uncertain world—that may not be all that it seems. Introspective Aquariuses will *love* how refreshingly authentic this novel is and how deeply they can connect to Stead's clever storytelling. 

Pisces: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
