Last year I won a Presidential Award at school. There was a ceremony to accept the award, and I decided to wear a pink flowy dress and high heels to it. My crush was sitting in the first row of the audience, clapping as I walked toward the stage. I was walking up the steps when I tripped, fell and knocked over the microphone, causing my dress to fly *way* up! Everyone saw my underwear—including my crush. He couldn’t talk to me with a straight face for more than two months after it. From then on, I was known not for winning such a great award, but only for wearing underwear with smiley faces on them.
