I was in Honors English class, and we were reading The Kite Runner. I had already read it the year before, so I knew how it ended. Our teacher is really cool and lets us use our phones, so I picked up when I got a call from my mom in class. I was talking really loudly and told her the ending of the book, forgetting that everyone else around me didn’t know it yet! Everyone in my class threw crumpled paper at me for spoiling the ending, including my crush. Now every time we read a book, I’m not allowed to say anything!
