I've been bleeding when I go number-two


I know this super gross but I bleed when I go number-two. I've had this problem for a couple of months now, but I'm too shy to tell my mom. I've been really stressed lately with school drama. Do you think it will stop now that school's over? What should I do?
While blood in your poo is definitely a little disturbing, it’s important to remember that the “gross” things that happen in your bod occur to alert you of potential problems. There are a lot of things that could be causing bloody stool, including stress. Since this has been an ongoing issue, though, you really do need to tell your mom so she can make you a doctor’s appointment ASAP. Remember, she’s there to help you out, especially with the icky medical stuff. She was the one changing your diapers when you were a tot, so really, this isn’t anything new.

I wish I could tell you exactly what’s going on, babe, but only a doc can answer that question. We’re gonna have to leave this one to the pros!
