What's this stuff in my throat?

What's phelgm? I have it in my throat a lot... How do I get rid of it?

Hey, girl. Phlegm is completely normal. It’s a thick mucus that is produced when you have a cold or allergies, or sometimes just when it’s cold outside.

Unfortunately, to completely rid your body of this icky problem, you have to wait ‘til your cold is gone. If you think it’s allergy-related, talk to your mom about getting some over the counter decongestant or allergy medication.

But, to temporarily relieve yourself from this common problem, try taking hot showers, letting the warm water run on your chest. Also, drink lotsa liquids: especially hot tea with honey.
