Mad at the world? 3 workouts to help you work it out


Sometimes it seems as though every single thing drives us up the wall, off the charts crazy. And all we want to do is start a pillow fight or throw a glass of water in someone’s face. While you could do either of those things, we recommend the three below instead for optimal rage reduction…

Boxing

Not the shadow variety. Sometimes, you feel like you just need to hit something, and when you do, beating up on a punching bag is far healthier than taking it out on the wall. Hunt down a boxing gym nearby, sign up for classes and make a go of it.

Batting practice

Ah, the crack of a bat against a ball flying at your face. What could be more satisfying? Grab a friend (or Dad) and head to the batting cages. It’s time to get sweaty! And if you’re anything like me (aka unable to connect a bat with a ball for anything), try tennis instead.

Rock climbing

Why hit the wall when you can climb it? Head to a local gym, strap on a helmet and a harness and go for broke, babe. By the time you get to the top, you’ll forget that argument you were staging in your head and just be glad you made it. Phew!
