Eat Right

Fast food feasts that freak us out

Driving down the street, it feels like there is a McDonald's on every corner, a KFC on every block and a Taco Bell in between.  Hello, fast food nation! While a burger here and a taco there won’t hurt ya, these insane calorie smorgasbords definitely will once ya start piling on the extras. Take a peek at our gross-out meals and then tell us what totally makes YOU wanna gag in the comments.

For breakfast, you can order up Burger King’s Ultimate Breakfast platter.

Tuck in to scrambled eggs, pancakes drizzled with breakfast syrup, a biscuit, hash brown and sausage, all for 1450 calories and 84 g of fat. OK, OK, it does offer up 40 g of protein, but we’re thinking some eggs at home with whole wheat toast and even a slice or two of bacon would treat ya way better. Especially if you wanna wash it down with a Mocha Frappe—smalls pack 410 extra calories.

Grand total for the meal: 1,860 calories.

Heading to Taco Bell for lunch?

Though it’s not the most ooest-gooiest option of them all, the Doritos Locos Taco Supreme gets our pick for major gross-out. Sure, we like a good Dorito every now and then. But as a taco shell? Vom. Grab two of these babies and you’ll be wolfing down an acceptable 400 calories and 22 g of fat (9 of those being saturated). Wash it down with a Strawberry Cream Fruitista Freeze (‘cause what goes better with fake Dorito cheese than strawberries and cream…) for 370 calories and top it off with a Caramel Apple Empanada for 310 calories.

Grand total for the meal: 1,080 calories.

OK, we know it’s a fan favorite, but the McRib Sandwich makes us cringe.

It’s a saucy rib! On a bun! Whaaat?! The sammie itself serves up 500 calories, 26 g of fat and 980 mg of sodium. But you’re obviously going to add on fries—a medium clocks in at 380 calories and 19 g of fat—and a drink, let’s say a medium Dr. Pepper for 210 calories. What’s that? You want dessert? Hello, McFlurry time! The classic Oreo McFlurry piles on another 510 calories. But hey, it’s good to the last slurp, right?

Grand total for the meal: 1,600 calories.

Your team’s ordering up pizza from Domino’s…

..And what do they choose? Why, the Bacon Cheeseburger Feast specialty pizza on the handmade pan crust, of course (because who doesn’t want to mix pizza night with a li’l bacon cheeseburger, right?). Two slices plus a massive bottle of Sprite clock in at 970 calories, but this is Domino’s, and Domino’s is not Domino’s without the Cinna Stix, right? Two of those delish babies (plus dipping sauce, of course) get ya another 490 calories. Quite the team meal, eh?

Grand total for the meal: 1,460 calories.
