July 4th is right around the corner, and you know what that means—fireworks, festive snacks and cookouts galore. Whether you heart healthy dishes or want to make a decadent dessert, there are so many yummy options perfect for the Fourth of July. If you're still brainstorming ideas for your family cookoout, keep reading, because we've rounded up four delicious and *extremely* easy red, white and blue-themed snacks.

1. Berry Trifle

What you'll need:

-Strawberries

-Blackberries

-Whipped cream (canned or homemade)

-Angel food cake

-Large bowl or dish

Directions:

1. Wash, cut and dry all fruit.

2. Slice angel food cake into small pieces.

3. Start making the cake layers by placing some cake in the bottom, whipped cream in the middle, and lastly, the fruit.

4. Repeat step 3 and alternate between fruits until you get to the top of your dish.

5. Make a cute design using the fruit on the top of your trifle.

6. Enjoy!

Tips:

-The whipped cream melts very fast, so don't take it out of the fridge until right before you need it.

2. Patriotic Rice Krispies Treats

What you'll need:

-6 cups of Rice Krispies

-10 ounces of marshmallows

-3 tablespoons of butter

-1 cup of white chocolate chips

-Wooden skewers

-Red or blue food coloring

-4th of July-themed M&M's

Directions:

1. Melt butter on low heat and add in the marshmallows.

2. After marshmallows are completely melted, add in the Rice Krispies.

3. Once combined, pour the mixture into a baking pan.

4. Let cool and cut into squares.

5. After the treats have cooled, melt white chocolate chips and add 3-5 drops of food coloring .

6. Take a Rice Krispies treat, place a skewer into it and gently dip it into the chocolate.

7. Place your M&M's and wait for the chocolate to dry.

8. Enjoy!

Tip:

-Melt chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring after each. Doing this ensures that the chocolate doesn't burn in the microwave.

3. Fruit Kabobs

What you'll need:

-Strawberries and/or raspberries

-Blackberries and/or blueberries

-Banana

-Skewers

Directions:

1. Wash, cut and dry all fruit.

2. Place fruit on skewers in the order you would like.

3. Leave about an inch at the top and bottom of each skewer empty.

4. Enjoy!

Tips:

-If you want to be *even* more festive, use a star cookie-cutter to add star-shaped watermelon pieces to the tops of the skewers.

-Don't cut the banana too thin, or it will break while you try to put it on the skewer.

4. Berry Rice Cake

What you'll need:

-Any type of rice cake

-Any type of yogurt (we used unflavored Greek, but anything thick works)

-Raspberries and/or strawberries

-Blackberries and/or blueberries

-Festive sprinkles (optional)

-Honey (optional)

Directions:

1. Wash and cut all fruit.

2. Take your rice cake and spread it on an even layer of yogurt.

3. Put on any sprinkles you may be using.

4. Place your fruit on the "cake" in a fun pattern.

5. Lightly drizzle honey over the top.

6. Enjoy!

Tips:

-If you chose greek yogurt but want it to be sweeter, put it in a bowl with some honey and mix it up before adding it to your dish.
