6 cute ways to celebrate Galentine's Day this year

Don't have a sweetheart for Valentine's Day? Don't sweat it. You and your gal-pals have a holiday just for celebrating your powerful friendship on February 13. Although having a big party with all of your besties still isn't the best idea in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have 6 *adorable* ways to celebrate the season of Galentine's safely.

1. Pick out a *super* cute outfit

Even if you don't have a date with your crush, it doesn't mean you can't look your best. A gorgeous outfit never fails to give you a confidence boost. Break out the pink and red and compile an Instagram post with all of your bestie's *fab* looks.

2. Treat exchange

Everyone knows that Valentine's season is the *best* for anyone with a sweet tooth and what better way to get in the spirit than baking some love-themed goodies for your BFFs? Every member of your squad can participate and you can drop the treats off at each other's houses or organize a way to exchange the desserts. (Socially distanced of course!)

3. Netflix rom-com party

There's nothing like rewatching all of your favorite rom-com with your besties. Set up an outdoor projector and break out your trusty copy of Legally Blonde or Mean Girls or Netflix Party To All The Boys 3 which drops February 12. Don't forget the popcorn and chocolate!

4. DIY Galentines over facetime

Time to get crafty! Grab your glitter glue and get your girls on facetime for a DIY Galentines making sesh. Mail your finished masterpieces to your besties to brighten up their day and give them something to always remember just how much you appreciate them.

5. Dish on all your crushes

Even if you can't be together IRL to spill all the sleepover style gossip, you and your gals can still share everything about the latest cutie to catch your eye. Whether you regale them with the super embarrassing story of how you slipped on the ice in front of your crush or gush about which character from Bridgerton you'd gladly marry, you and your squad will be talking *all* night long.

6. Work on a girl power playlist

Galentine's day is all about sisterhood and supporting the girls who always have your back. Create a collabrative playlist on Spotify and add fun girl power bops like "Me" by Taylor Swift or, of course, our new fave: "drivers license" by Olivia Rodrigo. When you're done have a dance party!

Happy Galentine's Day!
