5 Insta-worthy fall treats you can *totes* make yourself

There's no better way to spend a rainy autumn evening than with a cozy night in of baking, but not everyone is an amaze baker. If you're one of those people who seem to mess up every recipe they try but still want to make something Insta-worthy to post, these are five easy, *delish* fall treats that won't let you down, even on the 'gram. 

Pumpkin Spice Mug Cake

This mug cake brings you the *all* the fall feels in just less than five minutes. You can top it with whipped cream or your fave ice cream (or both!) for a super sweet late night snack. You can get the full deets on making this cake here.

What you'll need:

1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 4 teaspoons granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon pumpkin puree, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, 1/2 tablespoon water. Makes 1 serving.

Can't get enough of your chai latte? This recipe is for you. Taylor Swift released her recipe for these chai cookies several years ago. She added a packet of chai tea to this sugar cookie recipe and made her own chai icing to go on top. Whether you're a Swiftie or not, you are sure to enjoy these *delish* munchies. 

What you'll need:

For the cookie: 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 egg, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, one packet of chai tea

For the icing: 1 cup powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons milk, pinch of cinnamon

Makes one dozen large cookies (TikTok shows half portions)

Pumpkin Chocolate Cups

These pumpkin chocolates are the autumn spin on Reese's Peanut Butter Cups we *need* rn. These are super quick and easy to make, so you'll have a tasty pumpkin treat in no time. You can find the full recipe here. Don't forget to snap a pic for Insta while you're at it!

What you'll need: 
1/2 cup melted chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree or sweet potato, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 1/8 tablespoon cinnamon, a pinch of pumpkin spice (optional)

Pumpkin Pie S'mores

Need to finish some pumpkin pie leftovers sitting in the fridge? Make these s'mores to switch things up. You can either use the filling from a pumpkin pie or make your own filling. Sandwich a bit of the filling between a toasty marshmallow, melted chocolate and graham crackers. Drizzle caramel over the s'more and voila! What you'll need:
Pumpkin pie filling, 10 Graham Cracker squares, 2 bars of chocolate, 5 marshmallows, caramel (optional). Makes five s'mores.
