How to plan the best Secret Santa party

It’s never too early start planning for your holiday parties, especially since there are *so* many things to cover from food to entertainment. That’s why we’ve got your guide to planning the ultimate Secret Santa party for you and your squad (yes, we know it's not even Thanksgiving but no, we don't care).

Select your Santa.
First things first: You need to pick names for Secret Santa. Get your guests excited about the party (and make it easier for everyone in the long run) by giving them short questionnaires to help their Secret Santa shop for them.

Deck the halls.
When it finally comes time to getting ready for the party, the more decorations, the better. And what’s more festive than a tree? Make these cute little ornament trees and put them all around your living room or wherever you’ll be hosting your party.

Get Grinch-y.
It’s holiday time, which means that it’s probably chilly outside. Help your guests get warm when they first come in with this Grinch Hot Chocolate. (It's the *only* time we'll recommend anything Grinch-themed!)

Serve snacks.
How else are your party guests going to keep up their energy to dance? You’ll totally need some holiday treats to go with your very festive party. Try making these reindeer brownies which are 100 percent Rudolph-approved.

Cue up the games.
Keep up with your holiday theme by playing some festive games, like Christmas Songs Pictionary or charades. Can your friends guess which song you’re drawing out? It’ll be a blast, promise.

Save the gifts for last.
Towards the end of the party is when you should finally exchange your gifts. For a twist on the traditional, set a theme for everyone’s gifts. You can say that everyone should buy gifts that are movie-related, like this mug. It’ll be interesting to see what everyone comes up with!
