MAKE IT CUTE

DIY the *prettiest* pumpkins (no carving required!)

What's Halloween without pumpkins? Uh, nothing, duh. But carving jack o' lanterns can be messy, hard and downright scary (knives, eek!). Fortunately, you can trick (or treat) out your pumpkin *without* a single cut—and all you need is Duck Tape. To help fab up your fright night, we've rounded up the best DIYs for your pumpkin-making pleasure below.

P.S.: If you think your creepy crafting is totally Instagram-worthy, enter Duck Tape's Stick or Treat contest. All you have to do is share a pic of your decked-out (er, should we say "Duck-ed" out) pumpkin on Twitter or Insta before October 31st, tag @duckbrand and #StickOrTreat and you'll be entered for the chance to win $1,000. Now that's a happy Halloween.

Mummy Madness
Who knew mummies could be so cute?! Wrap a pumpkin with strips of white tape (leave some spots uncovered) and glue oversized googly eyes on the front.

Pretty Patterns
Give your pumpkin a mod makeover by plastering it with a playful print. For extra cool vibes, grab a bunch of pumpkins and mix and match patterns and colors.

Mesmerizing Mosaic
From jack o' lantern to work of art: Start by painting your pumpkin black, then cut up different sized pieces of orange Duck Tape and arrange them all over for an abstract effect.

Gorgeous Glow
Swap the candle for glow-in-the-dark stars—cover your pumpkin in dark blue Duck Tape (to look like the night sky, natch), then stick cut-out stars all over.

Chic Spots
Go ghoulishy glam this Halloween with metallic paint and artfully arranged squares. Pro tip: This elegant orb would look extra gorg with pops of glitter, too.

Sweet Sprinkles
Turn your pumpkin into your fave dessert (donuts, of course!) by painting it a solid color, then scattering tape "sprinkles" on the top or bottom. Now we're getting hungry...

Bat Attack
For the crafting queens out there who don't mind putting in a little extra effort (it will be so #worthit, trust), wrap your pumpkin in black tape. Then, cut two pieces of cardboard to use for the wings, cover them in black as well and attach using, you guessed it, more tape. Bat Girl, is that you?
